Friday night we met The Goodwin’s and The Hodges at Park Heights for cocktails then to Charity Ball. We had a blast. Charity Ball is basically an Adult Prom!
Saturday and Sunday we spent most of our day outside enjoying the spring like weather:
- Lunch with Brian and Leah @ The Stables Saturday (And if the waitress would have done her job we could have had lunch outside.)
- Keg Party for Brad’s Birthday Saturday afternoon! It was so much fun acting like I was in college again. I can’t do it every weekend but I am looking forward to the next one.
- Saturday Night Dinner and Drinks with Friends on the Patio at Romies to celebrate Brian’s Birthday. Today is his actual birthday. I don’t know if he reads our blog but….. Happy Birthday Brian!
- Sunday Chad and I hosted Coffee Alley at Church. Basically we provided a light snack between the services and visited with members of our Church.
- After Church on Sunday Chad went to play golf and I played Tennis. I joined a league this year and met some of my teammates yesterday. I am not as rusty as I thought but boy is my body soar today. I am looking forward to the season.
Our weekend ended with our usual tradition of Grilling. Chad grilled “The Perfect NY Strip” from the Grisanti Cookbook.
Now it is back to the Grind Stone. I hope everyone has a great week!
*No pictures b/c I haven’t uploaded them to my computer.
