Race for the Cure

Saturday was a big day in Downtown Tupelo. Race for the Cure moved Downtown this year. They had a record number of people register - 3900 something. That is alot of walkers and runners. And you guessed it.... Chad and I ran in D.D.'s honor. My grandmother D.D. is a breast cancer survivor! We wore these cute shirts....

Did I mention it was 30 degrees on race day?
I was so proud of us.... Chad ran with me and we finished in 33 minutes. He is way faster so I was happy he stayed back with me.
Here is a photo of us after the race.

After the race I ran home to shower and head back to work Pigskins in the Park! Main Stree showed support for Breast Cancer Awarness month by wearing our new pink shirts!
