Easter Weekend

On Easter Eve Chad and I smoked a Boston Butt. Chad lit the grill at 5 am, put the meat on at 5:30ish and went bike riding. He left Pete and I instructions on what to do and we made sure the temp stayed in the correct range all morning. I was so glad when he got back because that is a lot of pressure. I didn't want it to be my fault if it messed up. Toward the end of the cooking he added chicken wings and sausage. Our families came over for dinner. It is so nice that we all get along. Easter Sunday we went to 10:30 church then headed to Old Waverly for lunch. We stopped in Okolona to pick up Glenda at the First United Methodist Church. They had a beautiful flower cross out front that we took pictures in front of.

After lunch we took a family pic. This year was a nice mix. Glenda, Mrs. V, and Aunt Margaret joined us for lunch. Miller even drove over from Birmingham.
