Home Owners Again

After a year and a half of being "Homeless" Chad and I bought a house.  We were so busy preparing for baby Collins, then he arrived and I never blogged.

On Friday September 28th we closed on our new house.

We are so excited about our new house.  It is well built but never been updated.  We are renovating and adding a small addition.  The weeks leading up to Collins arrival Chad prepped the house for the renovation.  He pulled out all the carpet, paneling, and doors.  Glenda scraped wallpaper in the hall and I made sure they were hydrated and fed.

We are taking photos as we go so I should have some great before and afters.  

On Thursday we met with the contractor and they said they were starting soon.  That means we have lots of decisions to make in a short amount of time.  When they said they were starting soon they meant Friday.  They started the dirt work for our addition on Friday.  Here are some photos:

Looks like I better start picking out fixtures, paint colors, doors, windows, etc...
