Getting in the Spirit

Chad was a sweetheart last week and kept Collins on Tuesday Night so I could go to Holiday Tree Festival with mom.  It was a last minute decision but I am so glad I went.  It was nice to see friends I haven't seen in awhile, get some Christmas Tree ideas, and spend time with mom.  For the 1st time ever I bought an auction item.

While I was gone Chad put the lights on our new Christmas Tree.  He sent me the following photo while I was at Holiday Tree Festival.

For the first time ever we have a "Live Tree". It's a long story but it looks like we have a new tradition. I hope to post finished pictures soon...

On Tuesday Collins met Tia!  She was sweet to bring us dinner...

On Saturday we went to the Tupelo Christmas Parade.  Usually I am working the parade but this year was an exception since I am on maternity leave.  The Herndon's met us at the parade and we watched it from Josh Westmoreland's House.  

After the Parade we took Collins to Reed's Bookstore to meet Santa!  

Saturday was very eventful and included lots of firsts with Collins!
