Jackson Hole

This past weekend Chad and I went to Jackson Hole, WY.  We were there to attend the Jackson Hole Art Auction.  They are a customer of Chad's and we wanted to see an auction first hand.  They have an Arts Festival and lots of activities that surround the auction.  On Saturday we went to the auction at the Center for Performing Arts.

After the auction we headed out to Teton Village where we were staying at Hotel Terra.  Teton Village is at the base of the mountains.

It is currently the off season so the lifts are closed.  My friend Kyle Coffin works on Bridger Gondola so he made arrangements for Chad and I to come up and see him.  The view is absolutely beautiful.  It definitely looks different now then it does during ski season.  The last time I was here was January 2003 visiting Kyle right after he moved out to Jackson.

On Sunday Chad and I toured 2 National Parks - Teton and Yellowstone.

(Here we are @ Jackson Lake Dam)

(Here we are in front of Old Faithful before she erupted)

(watch out for roaming wildlife)

We had so much fun on our trip!  We were so glad to make it home today even if it was a day late (that story is for another day).  A special thanks to Mimi for keeping Collins while we were gone.

Glad you finally made it home! I know both of you were glad to see Collins. Sounds like you had a fun getaway!
