Rested and Ready….
What a wonderful weekend. It is a great feeling knowing you finished your to do list.
This weekend Chad and I were low key. It was great!
Friday night we grilled Tilapia.
Saturday morning we hit the big sale at Trails and Treads (local outdoor store). I came home with some work out clothes. Chad came home with some shorts and new flip flops! Saturday afternoon Chad helped his mom clean out her attic. I picked out fabric for my next curtain project, hit the gym and worked on the to-do’s. When Chad returned we hit the streets for a 4.5 mile bike ride.
Saturday night we had rack of lamb.
Sunday our Church Family hosted brunch following the service. We were responsible for 2 sausage and wild rice casseroles. It was pretty easy to make and great for large numbers. Chad and the other guys were on dish washing duty! I was so proud that he jumped right in to help. Sunday afternoon we worked in the yard and on the shop. Once again we hit the streets on our bikes. Chad’s speedometer was not working correctly but we think it was about 4 miles.
We have officially knocked the dust off our bikes and found a new outlet to have fun and get some exercise! If you have a bike or are thinking about buying one I totally recommend it!
