On our blog I don’t really ever talk about work but a few key things happened last week that I feel I need to share.
1. I presented at a conference in Denver last week. The weather was perfect and the events were well planned. My favorite part - We enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the Denver Aquarium, regular tour and dinner at Landry’s. I have been to several aquariums and this was by far the coolest experience at one.

2. My Director is leaving Radiant after 8 years. I am very sad to see Jimmy go but I completely understand you have to do what is best for you. He has a really cool opportunity in NYC. I can’t wait until the product hits the shelves in Fall 2009. Plus it may mean a FREE Place to stay.
The second half of my travels was a trip to the beach! Chad, Glenda, and I headed to the beach just before Ike was supposed to hit. Lucky for us it hit Texas and not Perdido Key. We enjoyed relaxing, sunning, shopping and eating some really yummy seafood. I have to say I got my fill. However, Glenda and Chad could eat it every day!
What trip to the beach would not be complete without a stop at the Flora-BAMA?

So glad you found my blog so I could find you. It is sad that as relatives we have to keep up through blogs instead of in person! You have a precious house and I love everything you have done to it. Take care and stay in touch!
