Playing Catch Up...

Time has been flying lately. We have been busy with work, family, fun, and some travel! Below is quick summary. After today I should be back on track and posting on a regular basis.

The Garden
So far so good. We haven't had anymore strawberries or peppers but our tomatoes and squash are plentiful. I have enjoyed sharing with our family.

The Deck
Chad is almost finished with the rail. I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard. We were planning to have a deck party this month but we have been so busy we didn't plan so we are pushing it to August. Better late then never. Updated pictures coming soon.

The Yard
I have so many things I want to do but I can't seem to make a priority list and plan to do it. This past weekend I weeded the garden and front flower beds. Of course there will be more after this week of rain but at least I am making progress.

Pete
We found a weird place on the side of Pete's face under his ear so we had it checked out. Turns out it is a hot spot. They are pretty common for dogs especially in the summer. Poor thing looks so funny since they shaved the area. I hope cleaning it out 2 times each day and applying medicine will help.

Other
  • Miller and I played 7.0 Mixed Doubles in the Charlie Close a few weeks ago. It was fun and we won the Consolation Bracket. Miller calls it 1st Losers.
  • Forth of July we went to Pickwick.
  • Chad and I have been riding bikes on a regular basis (3 times per week). We are training for the MS 150. Pretty soon we will be fundraising and will need your help :)
  • I have been working hard as a member of the Down on Main Committee to help plan and execute a series of FREE concerts in Tupelo. We are so excited.... Our 1st Event is this Thursday starting at 5:30 in Fairpark. Kudzu Kings and Mayheim String Band are playing. If you are in town please come support this great event!
