Yesterday I worked from 8 am - 8 pm so I was too wiped out to post. This past year Chad and I have tried to make an effort to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Every other week we have 2 over flowing recycling bins (they won't give me another or pick up weekly), we compost anything and everything possible (we even have a doggy composter), and we walk or ride our bikes where ever possible. Most of the time we get these crazy looks.
In observance of Earth Day I rode my bike to work, to dinner, and home. Chad even rode his bike to meet me.
Last year we planted our very first garden. Over the past few weeks we have been working hard in our garden. I hope things go as well this year as they did last year. And of course we will continue to try and be GREENER in 2010!
Below are some photos from our yard: (Sorry about the quality. I still don't have a digital camera)

Butterfies are my very favorite. My sweet Chad gave me this one for my Birthday!

Last year I had 1 raised bed and this year Chad built another one. We planted 3 types of peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, squash, strawberries, and herbs.

Thanks Alison for my big blue bottle on the top!

They are even bigger now!

The only color in my front yard.

My new spring wreath.

Hi Allie! This is Sharon, Chad's first cousin, that lives in Texas. I'm the one with the little boy and now three month old. Glenda sent me your blogsite. It looks great. You and Chad are very green. Quite impressive. Tell Chad I said hello.
