Mother To Be Tea

A few weeks ago my aunts and moms close friends hosted a Mother To Be Tea for me. Everything was perfect.
My dear friend and college roommate Frances Croft came to celebrate. It was so great to see her and catch up. She has 2 boys so I know she will be a wealth of information in the coming months.
When I opened up the blue sweater I had to fight back tears. When we were kids my Jen Jen (great grandmother) knitted all of us baby sweaters. Over the years they seemed to disappear or people would hide them away. Aunt Dot-T and her daughter Dawn found a sweater and matching booties. This gift is so special and I can't wait for Collins to wear it.
My sweet friend Sarah Dill couldn't make it but she sent this picture frame with this saying in it - "Rock me Mamma Like a Wagon Wheel". One of my favorite songs that Ironwood Bluff covered...
With Glenda and Chad's Aunt Donna
With Collins Grandmothers... Mimi, Mo, and DD
3 Generations
DD with her Granddaughters.... We missed you Ginny!
With the Hostesses. Mrs. Wheeler stood in for Cynthia Temples since she couldn't be there. It was such a special day. It was great seeing family we never get to see. Looking forward to seeing everyone again at DD's 80th Birthday Party!
